Biography

Kayla M. King, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Golden Glasko Haddy and Associates, P.A., where she devotes her practice exclusively to Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship law. Kayla assists clients with customized estate plans, the daily administration of probate, guardianship, trust matters, and related litigation.

Kayla earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in 2017 while working full-time as a Florida Registered Paralegal in boutique Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship law firms. In 2022, she graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University College of Law, with a certificate in Elder Law. During law school, Kayla served as president of the Elder Law Society, and was a member of the Trial Team, where she competed in the National Trial Competition and won the Best Closing Argument award. She also received a pro bono commendation for completing over 100 hours of pro bono services. Additionally, Kayla interned at the Guardianship Program of Dade County, a non-profit agency that serves as the designated Public Guardian for indigent adults who are incapacitated, and at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, where she participated in the Office of Public and Professional Guardians Education Task Force to update the guardian training course manual. Kayla is currently pursuing her LL.M. in Taxation with a concentration in Estate Planning at Boston University School of Law.

Kayla delivers compassionate, dedicated legal services, recognizing that each case is personal to her clients. She collaborates closely with them to meet their unique needs, crafting strategies that protect their interests and achieve their goals. Her approach ensures clients feel supported and confident throughout the process.

Kayla is a first-generation Cuban American, born and raised in Miami, Florida. In her time away from the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
